The marble

Soon availableThe Amarillo Triana marble is explored by not more than five quarries around the town of Cobdar, with some extraction happening also around the town of Olula del Rio. The quarries have a considerable dimension, with large exploration fronts and very uniform layers. The blocks extracted have a large dimension. Despite the size of the quarries, it is estimated that there are large reserves of this marble for the future.

Overall analysis

The most interesting aspects of the Amarillo Triana are related to its appearance: it presents a very particular yellow colour, as well as pre-historic fossils. This is what makes the Amarillo Triana such an unique marble, with increasing market demand in different places.

On the other hand, it is important to mention that in terms of strucutre, the Amarillo Triana presents a slightly earthy composition. This means that this marble can be very susceptible to erosion. It is then recommended for interior applications where it can be more sheltered.
